Mid-Atlantic Regional Undergraduate Diversity Mock Trial Workshop and Competition

I am pleased to announce the First Annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Undergraduate Diversity Mock Trial Workshop and Competition which will be held March 12-13, 2009 at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia.  I invite your students participate and compete for a portion of the $99,000 in tuition waivers that will be awarded.  Every member of the first place team will be awarded a $7,500 tuition waiver to The John Marshall Law School.  Additional prizes will be awarded.  During the Mid-Atlantic Regional an optional training session will be offered on March 12th preceding the competition which will take place on March 13th.  Please find attached the brochure, registration form and case materials for the Mid-Atlantic Regional.  Individual competitors are also welcome, as teams will be assigned upon arrival.

The case that your students will be trained on and compete with in the Mid-Atlantic Regional will be the same case for the National Undergraduate Diversity Mock Trial Competition which will be held March 27 - 28, 2009 at John Marshall in Chicago.  The national competition has been recognized as an Invitational Tournament of the American Mock Trial Association.  Use the following link to get more information on the National competition. http://www.jmls.edu/events/2009Diversity.pdf
